Smokey Mo`s BBQ in Cedar Park

Great BBQ and Service. You need to look on the end of the strip to find them, but well worth stopping.

I have been coming here for over a year and they NEVER disappoint. Carl, Kim and the whole team always address me by name and they serve some AMAZING food. I always look forward to coming here. No matter what I get, its always good. 2 thumbs up!!

Very friendly staff, generous portions. Casual atmosphere. Although it's counter service, eat in or carry out, if you eat in, they follow up, a couple times, to make sure you're happy with the food.

Would've rated 5 star if they served fried okra at the Cedar Park location. Isn't fried okra a Texas BBQ staple???

Breakfast taco review:Tortillas are thick, sturdy flour tortillas. This is exactly what I want for a breakfast taco. Eggs are grainy and broken up. Not how I would want an egg any day. Sausage was decent, good smoke flavor. Texture is store bought processed but that’s fine. Firm like ham. Potatoes were soft and mushy, over cooked without texture. I prefer a fresh and crispy potato. Also had a sliced brisket wrap which was bone dry. I assume it was sliced yesterday. If that’s the quality they put out for their meat I won’t be back to try any other barbecue. Price was fair. I’d rather pay an extra couple dollars for better quality.

If I could rate a zero I would for this location. I made the mistake of placing an order online for pickup. It wasn't until after i submitted my payment of $40 that i was notified of a 1 hours wait time. I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund so I called the store. The guy who answered the phone was uniformed on how to process the refund and directed me to do so online. When i tried to do the return online it only gave me two options. One being to contact the store and the other to contact support. I did both.. the support team replied to my email and basically told me that they cannot help me and the guy gave me his word that he will email the people who will process my return. This was on July 7th and it has now been a full work week and i have not received my return that was so quickly taken from my account. Im very displeased with the customer service i recieved because im sure the guy forgot to do it . I will never place another order from here let alone eat here.

Great experience every time I come in! Staff is beyond amazing specifically Matthew at the cypress creek location! Not to mention food is amazing and I intend to come back weekly because you simply can’t beat this experience overall!

LOVE MO'S! All of the food is really good but if I had to make a first timer's recommendation it would be the "Chopped Baker"! It's a baked potato loaded with whatever baked potato toppings you want like butter, cheese, sour cream ect....AND THEN....a large scoop of chopped beef right on top. "Food so good it makes you want to slap your momma!!"

Best service I have had at BBQ place. They offered samples of all their meats because I had never been there plan on going again next time I am in town.

Always quality BBQ and friendly service!

Unfortunately I found a long brown hair in my green beans. With the current health crisis going on this is very unpleasant. Wasn't able to finish my meal. Asked for bread and was told it was in the bag; but there was no bread. Been eating here for a while will not be back.

Well I’ve been going to Smokey Mo’s since it opened. It was the best BBQ in the Cedar Park Area. I was glad to also see the new locations pop up around the surrounding area. But after many years I have noticed the service and the quality has suffered dramatically. Also the price is one of the highest in the industry, but doesn’t justify the price. I feel that the expansion of Smokey Mo’s has made this into just an ok place to eat. It’s another one of those places that has suffered from it’s own success. I won’t be frequenting this establishment anymore. J &J is a lot better , and more affordable.

Great food.

Never had such a bad experience at Smokey Moes. The place was filthy, they still have Christmas decorations up. The food was room temperature and dry. I have never had moist brisket suck all the moisture out of my mouth like this did. The employees were doing nothing but complaining to eachother. Maybe you can get ride of one employee that is just standing around and then you can afford to throw out yesterday's meat. Just a thought. This store could use a cleaning from top to bottom on both the facility and the staff. I was shocked to see Carl's name on the window. I couldnt imagine him letting it go like this. FRESH EYES

Great BBQ, cheap and fast.

Brisket dry, mac and cheese tastes like it's from a can. I won't be back soon. The soda was good. Go to J&J and save yourself from bad BBQ.

Probably THE best bbq you will in in this area - my son likes it better than the salt lick (not sure if better than coopers or not tho) - their brisket is awesome, they make their own sauce that is spot on, and it's this little hole in the wall place that has that old small town feel to it - I think this location is the original of this growing chain - I have in laws (who used to live in north austin) who still crave smokey mos for lunch or dinner) - YUMMY!

This is the worst experience of online ordering I have ever had. Supposed to be ready at 6;45 and 45 min later still not ready with no end in sight. No refunds for online orders. And they were out of half the meat on the menu.Lots of people standing in line just to get their online order. Just stop online orders! Staff is really nice, Its not their fault the online order system is broken.

Food was excellent. This establishment has a mom and pop type feel even though there are multiple locations.

If you're a TRUE LOCAL this is the go-to place for BBQ & Breakfast tacos. Sure we have some big chains in the area, but Smokey Mo's is a hometown favorite.Morris and his family's passion have kept them one of my favorites for well over a decade. Keep up the great work.

My favorite is the pork loin. Juicy and tender. I also love the hot BBQ sauce.

Well don't order the pork loin because you won't get much what a terrible experience I see why now most of my friends go to the other one I now will be making that trip to almost $13 4 look like a Happy Meal it wasn't worth it to me

Kinda slow with my to-go order. Cold when I got home. Warmed it up and not too bad. Big hunks of sliced brisket and too chewy. Won't be back at this place. Expensive too.There were 7 people in front of me on Friday at 5:30pm. I ordered brisket and sausage plate with green beans, mac & cheese, and cherry pie. It took 30 minutes to get my order to go.
